2. AI reads it
Odometer, amount and service items are filled in for you. It reads the total odometer (ODO), not the trip meter.

Why reminders come first
The point of a car log isn't the log. It's knowing when the oil was last changed and when it's due next. The sticker on the windshield covers one item, from one shop. OdoLog tracks every item by mileage and by months, and tells you by email and app notification, whichever comes first.
Reminders are only as good as the records behind them, and typed records die after two or three entries. So we cut logging down to one photo. How does scanning a photo work?
Snap your dashboard or a receipt and AI reads the mileage, cost, and service items, filling the form for you.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It is a web app — use it in your browser, or add it to your home screen to run it like a native app.
Which vehicles are supported, and are there maintenance reminders?
Gasoline, diesel, LPG, PHEV, electric and hydrogen. Each item has a mileage interval and a month interval; whichever comes first triggers a reminder by email and app notification.
What if the AI reads it wrong?
You can edit any value before saving. A confidence level (high / medium / low) is shown with each scan, so a low reading is your cue to double-check the number.
Does it work for EVs and hybrids?
Yes. Gasoline, diesel, LPG, PHEV, electric and hydrogen are supported, and the unit switches automatically — liters for fuel, kWh for charging, kg for hydrogen. A PHEV can log a fill-up and a charge in the same visit.
How are service reminders calculated?
Set an interval (km or months) for each maintenance item and OdoLog compares the last service with today's mileage and date to show what's left. When it's due you get an email and an app notification, and once a month it asks for a dashboard photo to keep the mileage current. Entering your car model lets the AI suggest intervals, but always confirm them in the owner's manual.
Can I bring records over from another app?
Upload an Excel or CSV file and AI matches the column names and date formats for you. Files in Google Drive can be pulled in directly (Pro feature).
Are scanned photos stored?
Yes. After recognition, a reduced copy of the photo is kept as evidence attached to that record, so you can open it again later. Photos live in a private bucket and, like your records, are restricted at the database and storage level so only your account can access them (row-level security). Deleting a record deletes its photos too. Images sent for recognition are not used to train AI models, and you can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
How is an AI car maintenance log different from a regular one?
A regular car log app makes you type the date, mileage and amount every time. OdoLog is an AI car maintenance log: it reads those values from a photo of your dashboard or receipt and fills them in, so you only confirm. It also suggests service intervals for your car. Less typing is why the log actually keeps going.
Can I show my service history when I sell the car?
Yes. From the service-history page, create a 30-day share link and the recipient sees the items, dates and costs without logging in. Notes and receipt photos stay private, and you can turn the link off anytime. Pro can also export a PDF.
